Karen and her husband with two kids want to go to Maui. They want the best location for their money. Karen found our web site advertising a 2 bedroom Ocean Front on the web. Today's date is October 1st 2009. Karen knows in order to get a great location, she is willing to book way in advance. Karen's family has a date with paradise (Maui) October 1st 2010. This would be 1 year out from her arrival date. We make her reservation on October 1st 2010 for a 2 bedroom Ocean Front. After full payment of the rental, we send her conformation of the dates. The number used, is from Westin on the property resort. She can call Westin with this number to verify that her reservation is complete.

Example 2: Today's date October 1st 2009. Let's say that Karen waited until January 25th 2010 to make here reservation. We have to have at least 8 -12 months notice before your travel date to guarantee a Ocean Front Room. In this case, Oct 1 - Nov 1 - Dec 1 - Jan 1- up to Feb 1st, would be the 4 month window to make their reservation for a October 1st 2010 arrival date. We can still guarantee a Ocean Front 2 bedroom on the resort.

Example 3: Today's date October 1st 2009. Let's say that Karen waited until May 1st to make here reservation for a Oct 1st 2010 arrival. Because the date is out of the 1 year to 8 month window, we can only book her a 2 bedroom on the property. The location of the room, will be decided by the resort. Depending on how busy the resort is, run of the house can be Island View, Ocean View or Ocean Front. Just remember, any room at the Westin Ka'anapali Ocean Villas North in Maui will be paradise.

If you book after 8 months out location on the property is run of the house. $5500.00

Same as above for making reservation. Two weeks will consist of 1 bedroom for 7 nights and a Studio for 7 nights. Listed below are the floor plans for the 1BR and the Studio.

I accept payment as $500 non-refundable deposit to secure the reservation. Westin only allows a 24 hour hold so I use this deposit to insure me against any fees Westin charges. The remaining balance can be sent via personal check, bank check or credit card within two weeks from the time you book the reservation. Once this payment clears, I will send all the confirmation information.

Refunds: NONE If for some reason (including weather) you are not able to meet the arrival date, we can change the dates for you or change the reservation name to someone else at no charge. I need to know ASAP if this type of problem occurs. Booking early gets the 2BR Ocean Front, having to rebook the reservation gets you the run of the house 2BR. If you can't go at all, I will work with you on getting another week vacation at a different resort. If I can get you a different week, at a different resort, I will be glad to do that, at no additional cost. Keep in mind the week of travel has to be in 2010. I my have available 20 different resorts we can trade the week in Hawaii. Click the link below to see if any of other resorts will interest you. Connie G from Dallas, TX: I rented from Cathy and Terry on Feb 20th 2009. I booked the 2 bedroom Ocean Front. What a wonderful experience. They did everything for me. My family was very surprise to see the large rooms and see the ocean right out the window. I'm so glad we paid the extra money for a Ocean Front. This property is huge. The Ocean Front saved us a lot of walking. Everything is at the beach end. All I can say is, you can trust them to do what they advertise. If we ever go back to Maui, Hawaii, I hope their unit will be available.

Louise W from Denver, CO: I rented the 2 bedroom Ocean Front. Wanted to hear the ocean waves and I did just that. Super nice location and very nice staff at the resort. We had 6 of us in the two bedroom. Lots of room and the best thing we like about the room was the two separate kitchens. It was like two complete fully furnished apartments. Just a wonderful view of oceans. I trusted Cathy with my reservation and I was not disappointed. Very honest person. She took care of everything for us. I would recommend anyone wanting to travel to Maui to use Cathy's timeshare.

Cathy and Terry (The Owners): We have been time share owners since 2004. Only recently we have had to rent out the unit. My husband and I love to travel. That is why we invested in a time share. Because of the economy, my husbands business has suffered like thousands of other business and we are not able to travel as much as before. So we decided to let other folks enjoy our time share as we have in the past. We are not travel agents nor want to make huge profits off our time share. Because of the location in Maui, Hawaii the maintenance fees are high. We try not to over price the rental, mainly to cover the expenses from being owners. Hope everyone at sometime in there life, will get to go to Maui. Hawaii is a expensive place to travel, but well worth the investment.

Up Date: Our last vacation started on Feb 17 through March 2nd, 2008. We had a blast. We could see the whales from our room and took some cool pictures (above). Pictures were taken from room 5506, Fifth building, fifth floor, excellent view of islands Lana'i and Moloka'i

We learned a lot from our trip. How to book and what to expect when you get to the property. Ocean Front has a new meaning which we are happy and not too happy about. Ocean Front now means you are at the front of the resort, closest to the ocean. Doesn't mean your are up close and personal to the ocean as we were told when we purchased the property.

However, saying that, we were at two different locations on the property. Room 5506 was great. Our second room was 5412 which was not a good room to see the whales. Any 4th floor and lower in the 5th building was not a good view. There is a tree line starting at the 4th floor, but you do have a great view of the beach area and pools. Also you can leave your sliding door open and hear the ocean and waterfalls. Depends on what your trip is for. To see the whales you need to have your reservation 1 year out for a Friday check in. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee a 6th or 5th floor room. It all has to do with your call in time.

There are 90, 2BR units. Building 5 rooms 1-16. Building 5 has the most 2 bedroom ocean front units, 48. Building 8 is all 2 bedroom Ocean Front units, 42. Getting your dates to us 1 year out on a Friday, Sat., or Sunday will give you a better position and higher floor on the property.

We also learned November to April is peak season in Hawaii. The whales come in from all over the globe. Mainly from Alaska. This year was the largest amount of whales they have seen. Over 17,000 whales where in Hawaii this year. If you are wanting to go to Hawaii to see the whales please book early. All resorts are full and it is a hard place to get a room. We tried to get a couple to go with us, but they could not get a flight. So book early.

This resort is part of Starwood Vacation Ownership. I can rent anytime during the year. Check-in is usually a Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Rooms are assigned based on when the reservation is made and the day of the week for check-in.

My timeshare category is 2 Bedroom Ocean Front. Folks you cannot get any better view than Ocean Front. The other places you may have seen on the internet offer Ocean View. Most resorts if you can see the water it is considered Ocean View. You will be able to hear the Ocean waves with the windows opened or sliding door open from what we have experienced. Super Nice. November to April is when the Whales have there babies and the mothers teach the babies how to breach the water to breath. Ocean Front view (high floor) you can see the Whales breaching the waves right from your own lanai. What a view!!

Each unit comes with a king bed (Westin Heavenly Bed) and a pull out couch, Full Kitchen and eating area, Lanai, and Washer/Dryer. See the photos below to see the floor plan.

All 2 bedroom (1246 sq. ft) feature: Appliances in kitchens, toasters, coffeemakers, hairdryers, iron/ board, washer/ dryer, whirlpool tubs and separate showers. All kitchens are stocked with everything you need for cooking. 2 bedrooms have service for 10 people (1 King Bed sleeps 2, One Queen Bed sleeps 2, 2 Sofa Sleepers sleep 4 and two cots upon request). Please keep in mind, the two bedroom villas are design for either one bedroom or two. Which means if you take the two bedroom everything in it is times 2. Example two beds, two bathrooms, 2 kitchens, two coffee makers, etc.

2 Bedroom Ocean Front : Large 2 bedroom (1245 sq. ft) villa featuring a large living area connected to a private lanai, dining area and separate full kitchen, 2 bathroom with 2 whirlpool tub, washer, dryer and stereo. Room is adorned with plantation style décor.
